Alternating toys is a good way to regain your child’s interest in old toys. This method will lead to the fact that the child will use what he already has. Consider a few more advantages of this approach:

the child develops creativity and intelligence, finding a new use for old toys;
even when the child plays with old toys, he remains passionate. This leads to the fact that the child spends more time playing;

daily – you will need 7 sets of toys, one for each day of the week;
weekly – you will need 4 sets of toys for every week of the month. The child receives 1 set and plays them for a week. You must decide how many toys should be in one set;
monthly – this principle assumes that you will change toys only once a month. To do this, you just need to keep 3-6 boxes of toys at home. However, if you want your child to have a new set of toys every month, you will need 12 sets;
by accident – you will need several boxes of toys. You change them every time, seeing that the old set is bored with the child. This principle is best used for children with short-term concentration of attention.
